About 2 weeks ago I got a call from my tiny boss manger Tony Caferro.  He was biking somewhere in North Americas wilderness.

He had good and bad news.  I asked for the bad - he couldn't come play our NXNE showcase in TO (our manager doubles as tour DJ, that's right, multi-purpose).  Bad news sure, not the end of the world though, I got a laptop and itunes and we flail our arms a bunch on stage so sometimes people forget to check if there's anyone behind those turntables.  The good news though was in fact great news once i deciphered it.  Tony on his two wheeler hit large patches of wind so he delivered some of the most exciting news of our careers to date in bits and spurts . "Dante just..pssshht..warped...psssht..7da...pshht..tes....Hartford...pshht." After trying to take notes and pick apart his staggered blurbs for meaning he decided he'd pull off to the side of the road and have a real person chat.  "Congratulations! You're on Warped Tour buddy!" he said.   "Boooyah kah sha! I thought, "booyah kah fuckin' sha."

This is something I've been trying to get  on for eons now it seems.  It's a big enough deal that even my mom knew what it was when I skyped to share my excitement.  I mean she's hip and all but mostly about real pertinent stuff like Grey's Anatomy and E-Greeting cards with .gif Easter bunny images when its time for special occasions.  Long story short, cause I view blogging as kind of a chore (see: infrequent updates) we're in for seven dates - two Can, five US. and we'll be rich and famous by the time we're through.
